Oyster Mushroom Stir-fry

Hello and welcome to  Busy Mom Cooks. Today we are going to be making some oyster mushrooms stir fry. This mouth-watering recipe is super easy to make. It tastes just like a chicken stir-fry, but better. Perfect for anyone looking for a vegetarian stir option. Oyster Mushrooms are the perfect substitution as they have a chicken-like texture. This recipe is so easy to make it takes about 20mins to cook from start to finish. This super easy stir fry is perfect to enjoy for dinner or as a lunch meal prep. 

What you will need: 

Ingredients 

Oyster Mushroom 
1  - Broccoli 
1 -  Red Pepper 
1/2 Onions 
1 -  Celery 
1 -  Carrots 
1 -  Clove of Garlic 
2  - tbsp Ginger 

Spices

1         tsp      Onion powder 
1/2      tsp      thyme 
1/2      tsp      Black pepper 
1         tbsp    Chili garlic sauce 
2         tbsp    Soya Sauce 
1/3      cup     Oyster Sauce
1/3      cup     Hoisin Sauce 

Prep Time: 5 mins 
Cook Time: 15 mins

Directions:

  1. Take your oyster mushrooms and pull them apart and we're just going to strip them just like that. The great thing about oyster mushrooms is there are perfectly meat substitutes as they have a chicken-like texture, which makes them perfect for this stir fry.
  2.  Once the mushrooms are all shredded take the garlic and ginger and mince until it is really fine. 
  3.  Grab the red pepper cut the top off and scoop out the insides you want to make sure you get all the seeds you don't want any in your, stir fry. You want to slice the red pepper into strips. Then take your carrots and slice them. 
  4.  Grab a bowl and throw your oyster mushrooms into this bowl, as well as your ginger and garlic. And I'm going to add a little bit of celery. Combine in your soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, and dry ingredients thyme, onion powder, and black pepper.  
  5. Place medium pan on the stove. Turn the stove on to medium heat. pour in olive oil. Add onions into the pan. Add oyster mushrooms to the pan for about 10mins or until mushrooms are firm. 
  6. Stir in Broccoli, red peppers, and carrots. let simmer for 2 mins 
  7. Add oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and water to a cup. Mix together. Then pour into pan. Let everything cook together for about 2-3 min. 
  8. Once completed it's ready to serve. Enjoy.
